Need a graphic for a surface where ordinary vinyl may struggle? DPI GRAFIX AF8510(M) Aluminium Foil Sticker is a 180-micron conformable self-adhesive film designed for difficult, rough and textured applications.
Ideal for custom floor graphics, parking bays, loading bays, walkways, pavement, cement stairs, ramps, concrete and textured walls, bitumen surfaces and selected non-woven applications. Its permanent adhesive is designed to provide strong contact when applied correctly to a suitable clean and dry surface.

Surface Preparation & Installation
Surface preparation is one of the most important factors affecting adhesion and finished appearance.
- Check the Surface Confirm that the actual substrate is stable and suitable for adhesion.
- Clean & Dry Remove loose dust, dirt, oil, moisture and other contaminants.
- Position the Graphic Align the graphic carefully before applying full pressure.
- Apply Firm Pressure Work the foil into the surface texture using an appropriate roller or applicator.
Very dusty concrete, loose paint, loose gravel, oily surfaces,
wet surfaces or unstable coatings can reduce adhesion significantly.
Important Floor & Road Safety Information
A certified slip-resistance rating has not been confirmed for this printed product.
Unless a specific slip-resistance certification is supplied for the finished
printed product, customers should assess the suitability and safety of the
actual installation location before use in pedestrian areas.
For high-traffic public walkways, wet areas, emergency routes or locations
subject to formal safety requirements, please confirm the required slip-rating
and installation requirements before ordering.
Artwork Preparation
File Format
- Print-ready PDF is preferred.
- AI or high-resolution image files may be supplied where appropriate.
- Convert fonts to outlines or embed them correctly.
Resolution & Colour
- Prepare artwork in CMYK colour mode.
- Use high-resolution images at final print size.
- For close-view graphics, approximately 150–300dpi at final size is recommended.
Bleed & Safe Area
- Add at least 5mm bleed for cut-to-size artwork.
- Keep important text and logos at least 5mm inside the cutting edge.
- Extend full-background artwork completely into the bleed area.
Large Graphics & Panel Joining
- The material roll width is 1.27m.
- The actual printable width is smaller and depends on printer margins.
- Graphics wider than the tested printable width may need to be produced in multiple panels.
- For critical joins, prepare or approve the panel position before printing.
Custom Shape Cutting
- Custom cutting should only be selected when available in the calculator.
- Supply a clean closed vector cutting path.
- Keep the cutting line separate from the printable artwork.
