Shape, Creasing & Custom Cutting

Rectangle Straight rectangular shelf strip without an additional crease line.
Rectangle + Crease Line Rectangular shelf talker with a crease for folding or mounting.
Custom Shape + Crease Line Custom-cut promotional shape with a crease line for a more distinctive retail POSM presentation.

Optional Double-Sided Tape

Add adhesive tape when the shelf talker needs to be attached directly to an appropriate shelf, gondola or display surface.

Tape Not Required Choose this when your installation method does not require adhesive tape.
Double-Sided Tape Required Tape can be added to help install the finished shelf talker.
Long Side — Top Apply tape along the upper long-side mounting area.
Long Side — Top & Bottom Apply tape along both long-side mounting areas where required.
Clean and dry the installation surface before applying adhesive tape. Different shelf coatings, textures and retail fixtures can affect adhesion.

Artwork Preparation

Supply complete print-ready artwork matching the exact shelf-talker size and finishing selected online.

Finished Size & Bleed
  • Select the required finished size in the calculator.
  • The current OPS setup uses an artwork dimension 4mm larger than the finished width and height.
  • Example: 400 × 100mm finished size uses approximately 404 × 104mm artwork.
  • This corresponds to approximately 2mm bleed on each edge.
Colour & Resolution
  • Prepare full-colour artwork in CMYK.
  • Use approximately 300dpi images at final print size.
  • Embed or outline fonts before export.
  • PDF is the preferred print-ready format.
Crease Line Artwork
  • Keep important logos, text and QR codes away from the crease.
  • Confirm the mounting/fold direction before submitting artwork.
  • Allow sufficient blank mounting area where tape will be applied.
Custom Shape Artwork
  • Supply a clean closed vector cutting path.
  • Keep the cutting path separate from the printable artwork.
  • Keep important content safely inside the custom-cut edge.
  • Avoid unnecessarily complex fine-cut shapes.

  3. Select Shape & Tape Choose rectangle or custom shape, creasing and optional tape.
  4. Upload Artwork Upload print-ready artwork matching the selected finished size.

Frequently Asked Questions

What sizes are available?
There are 30 standard combinations. Widths are 200, 250, 300, 350 and 400mm. Heights are 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 and 100mm.
What paper can I choose?
The current calculator includes Art Card 310gsm, Art Card 350gsm and One-Side Art Card 300gsm.
Can I print both sides?
No. The current Shelf Talker product is configured for full-colour single-sided printing only.
What lamination is available?
Choose no lamination, front matte lamination, front gloss lamination or front soft-touch lamination.
Can I order a custom shape?
Yes. Select Custom Shape + Crease Line and supply an appropriate vector cutting path with your artwork.
Can double-sided tape be added?
Yes. Choose tape as Required and select whether it is applied along the long-side top area or the long-side top and bottom areas.
Is this the same as a shelf wobbler?
No. This product focuses on shelf talkers and long shelf-edge strips. A wobbler normally uses a flexible projecting strip that allows the promotional panel to move.
Does Image Magic design the artwork?
The standard online product is based on customer-supplied print-ready artwork. Basic technical checking may be performed before production.
