📌 Shelf Talker Artwork Upload Guide

Please prepare your artwork according to the exact Shelf Talker size selected in your order. Download and check the PDF template shown on this page before uploading your final artwork.

📐 Finished Size & Artwork Size

  • The size selected in your order is the finished size after cutting.
  • Please prepare artwork according to the Artwork with Bleed size shown in the downloadable template.
  • Our current Shelf Talker template adds approximately 2mm bleed on every edge (4mm overall to the width and height).
  • Example: 400mm × 100mm finished size = 404mm × 104mm artwork size.
  • Always follow the dimensions shown in the PDF template for the exact size selected.

⚠️ Important: This Shelf Talker product uses its own template bleed setting. Please follow the downloaded Shelf Talker template even if another general artwork guide shows a different bleed requirement.

🎨 Basic Artwork Requirements

  • Preferred format: Print-ready PDF.
  • Colour mode: CMYK recommended.
  • Resolution: Approximately 300dpi at final print size for raster images.
  • Fonts: Convert fonts to outlines or embed fonts correctly in the PDF.
  • Safe area: Keep important text, logos, prices and QR codes at least approximately 5mm inside the finished cutting edge.
  • Keep important artwork away from any crease, fold or tape mounting area.
  • Crop marks are normally not required unless they are specifically shown or requested in the supplied template.

🖨️ Printing & Finishing

  • This product is printed Full Colour Single-Sided.
  • Only upload the front artwork.
  • Available card stocks include Art Card 310gsm, Art Card 350gsm and One-Side Art Card 300gsm.
  • Front finishing may include Matte Lamination, Gloss Lamination or Soft Touch Lamination, depending on the option selected.
  • Lamination is a production finish. Do not add a simulated lamination effect into the artwork.

✂️ Rectangle, Crease Line & Custom Shape

Rectangle

Upload the finished print artwork using the correct bleed size. No custom cutting line is required.

Rectangle + Crease Line

Keep important artwork away from the crease position. If a crease position is not already defined by the supplied template, clearly indicate the required crease position in a separate reference layer or file.

Custom Shape + Crease Line

Please provide a vector cutting path and crease line. Keep the CUT and CREASE lines separate from the printable artwork and clearly label them. Important text and logos must remain safely inside the custom cutting path.

⚠️ Custom Shape Orders: Please do not flatten the custom cutting and crease lines into the printed artwork. They must be clearly identifiable as production references.

📎 Double-Sided Tape Area

  • If Double-Sided Tape = Required, choose the correct tape application area.
  • Available options may include: Long Side – Top or Long Side – Top & Bottom.
  • Keep important text, logos, QR codes and other critical artwork away from the tape mounting area.
  • The tape itself does not need to be drawn as part of the printed artwork.

📦 Multiple Artwork Files

One artwork per order item is recommended.

  • If you are ordering the same specification and quantity with different artwork, use Add Item (Same Specification, Same Quantity).
  • If one artwork requires several related files (for example print PDF + cutting line + crease reference), combine them into ONE ZIP file.
  • Clearly name every file, for example: PRINT.pdf, CUT.pdf and CREASE.pdf.

✅ Before You Upload

  • Check that the artwork matches the selected finished size.
  • Check the artwork orientation.
  • Check all prices, spelling, telephone numbers and website addresses.
  • Test QR codes before uploading.
  • Confirm that the correct paper, lamination, crease, custom cut and tape options were selected.
  • Remove unwanted guides, notes and non-printing objects.

✅ Artwork Responsibility: Image Magic may perform a basic technical check for print readiness. Customers remain responsible for the design, spelling, prices, contact details, QR codes, size, orientation and final artwork content.

⏳ Artwork Upload Cut-Off

  • Please upload completed artwork before 5:00 PM. Late artwork may affect the production and delivery schedule.
  • Production can only proceed after the required artwork, order information and payment are complete.

💳 Payment

Payment must be completed before production. Please send payment proof to [email protected] where required. Late payment may affect the production schedule.
