What Makes This Brochure Product Different?

This product is organised around its laminated art-card finishing. The folding style is selected after the printing and lamination specifications.

Laminated 250gsm Art Card The defining feature of this product is its heavier laminated card construction.
Front or Two-Side Lamination Lamination does not have to be applied to both faces.
Several Folding Choices Select creasing, half fold, tri-fold, Z-fold or cross fold.
Economy Bulk Quantity Suitable for planned campaigns requiring at least 250 pieces per artwork.
Not the Spot UV Product Spot UV is available through the separate Spot UV Brochure product.
Not the Standard Fold Product Choose the separate Half Fold, Tri Fold or Z Fold products when lamination is not the main requirement.

These are the open or flat sheet dimensions before folding. The final folded size depends on the selected fold.

Printing and Paper Options

Gloss Art Card 250gsm The only standard paper currently shown in the selector.
Full-Colour One-Sided Printing Suitable when artwork is required on one face only.
Full-Colour Two-Sided Printing Suitable for folded brochures using content on both faces.
Ivory card, 310gsm or 350gsm art card and FSC paper stocks are not currently selectable. Do not advertise them under this standard online product.

Lamination Options

Select the surface finish and whether it is required on one face or both faces.

Lower-Glare Finish Matte Lamination

Choose matte lamination on the front only or on the front and back. Matte creates a smoother, less reflective appearance.

Shiny Finish Gloss Lamination

Choose gloss lamination on the front only or on the front and back. Gloss creates a shinier, more reflective surface.

Front-only lamination means the reverse face remains unlaminated, even when two-sided printing is selected. Choose front-and-back lamination when both printed faces need the same surface finish.

Creasing and Folding Options

Select the fold before preparing the panel layout. Artwork must be created at the full flat size.

Half Fold One main fold divides the sheet into four printed panel faces.
Tri Fold A multi-panel inward-folding format. Use the current template supplied for this option.
Z Fold Panels fold in alternating directions to create an accordion-style opening.
Cross Fold The sheet is folded in two directions to create a more compact finished format.
Gate fold is not shown in the current product selector. The “Tri Fold – Three Fold Lines” option label should also be checked against the actual template before publishing a crease count.

Artwork Preparation Guidelines

Submit complete print-ready artwork at the selected flat sheet size.

File Format and Size
  • PDF is the preferred print-ready format.
  • AI artwork may also be uploaded.
  • Artwork dimensions must match the selected flat brochure size.
  • Do not submit artwork only at the final folded panel size.
  • Upload one-sided or separate front-and-back files according to the selected printing option.
Bleed and Safe Area
  • Add 3mm bleed on every side when artwork extends to the edge.
  • Extend background colours and photographs fully into the bleed.
  • Keep important text and logos at least 3–5mm inside the trimming edge.
  • Keep essential content away from fold and crease lines.
Fold and Panel Layout
  • Select the folding option before completing the artwork.
  • Use the correct panel arrangement for the chosen fold.
  • Clearly mark fold lines on a non-printing guide layer or include a reference file.
  • Confirm the front cover, back cover and inner-panel order before uploading.
  • Some folded panels may require different widths; use the official template rather than dividing the sheet manually.
Colour, Images and Fonts
  • Prepare colour artwork in CMYK.
  • Use images of approximately 300 DPI at final size.
  • Convert fonts to outlines or embed them correctly.
  • Embed all linked images before exporting the file.
  • Screen colours may differ from the final printed result.
Basic Technical File Check
  • Image Magic may perform a basic technical check for size, margins, bleed and colour setup.
  • The technical check is not a design, layout, retouching or proofreading service.
  • Customers remain responsible for wording, prices, telephone numbers, dates and QR codes.
  • Incorrect panel order or incomplete artwork may affect the completion schedule.
Before Approving Production
  • Confirm the selected flat sheet size.
  • Confirm one-sided or two-sided printing.
  • Confirm matte or gloss lamination and the required laminated faces.
  • Confirm the creasing or folding option.
  • Check the complete front, back and panel order.
  • Confirm the required completion and delivery date.
