Custom Event Wristbands with Optional Serial Numbering

Print lightweight Tyvek wristbands for event admission, identification and crowd management. Each 260 × 25mm band is printed in full colour on one side and includes an adjustable adhesive closure designed for one-time event use.

Wristband Features

Water-Resistant Tyvek Suitable for event use where the wristband may encounter perspiration, light moisture or splashes.
Tear-Resistant Material Designed to withstand normal handling during short-term events.
Adjustable Fit Position the wristband to the required fit before fastening the adhesive closure.
Tamper-Evident Closure The adhesive closure is intended for one-time use and helps discourage transfer between users.
Full-Colour Branding Add supplied logos, event names, graphics and event information.
Optional Numbering Add automatically generated serial numbers for easier identification and tracking.
Tyvek is water-resistant, but avoid describing the complete printed wristband as permanently waterproof or suitable for unlimited water immersion unless that performance has been specifically tested.

Numbering, QR Codes and Barcodes

These options are different and should not be confused when preparing artwork.

Standard Product Option Generated Serial Numbering

Select Numbering Required when each wristband needs an automatically generated serial number. Custom starting sequences or special numbering formats may require additional setup.

Artwork / Variable Data QR Codes and Barcodes

A fixed QR code or barcode may be included as part of the supplied artwork. If every wristband requires a different QR code, barcode, name or other variable data, confirm the setup and pricing separately before ordering.

When variable data is required, supply the approved data in a clearly organised Excel or CSV file and confirm the required sequence before production.

Important Artwork Placement

Keep Closure Area Clear Do not place important logos, numbers or codes over the adhesive fastening section.
Keep Important Content Safe Maintain approximately 3–5mm clearance from edges and other critical production areas.
Allow Numbering Space When numbering is selected, leave a clear area for the generated serial number.

Artwork Preparation Guidelines

Prepare artwork at actual size and follow the downloadable 260 × 25mm product template.

File Format and Colour
  • PDF is the preferred print-ready format.
  • AI artwork is also suitable.
  • Prepare artwork in CMYK colour mode.
  • Avoid supplying only RGB screenshots or low-resolution images.
Size, Resolution and Bleed
  • Finished wristband size: 260 × 25mm.
  • Prepare artwork at actual size, 1:1 scale.
  • Images should be approximately 300 DPI at final size.
  • Add the required 3mm bleed according to the downloadable product template.
Safe Area and Adhesive Closure
  • Keep important text, logos and codes approximately 3–5mm away from edges.
  • Keep important artwork away from the adhesive closure section.
  • Allow sufficient clear space for generated numbering when selected.
Fonts and Images
  • Convert fonts to outlines or embed them correctly.
  • Embed linked images before exporting the final file.
  • Check logos at actual print size rather than only viewing them enlarged on screen.
QR Code and Barcode Artwork
  • Use a high-contrast QR code or barcode.
  • Keep sufficient clear space around the code.
  • Keep codes away from the adhesive closure.
  • Test the code from the final exported artwork.
  • Confirm separately when the code changes on every wristband.
Multiple Designs and Data
  • The selected quantity applies to one design.
  • Do not split one quantity among several different artworks.
  • Multiple artworks using the same specifications and quantity may be added as separate items.
  • Supply approved variable information in Excel or CSV when separately required.
Basic Artwork Check
  • Image Magic performs a basic technical check of size, layout and print setup.
  • Minor technical adjustments may be made where appropriate.
  • The check is not a full design or proofreading service.
  • Customers remain responsible for names, dates, numbers, QR codes and event information.
Artwork Upload Cut-Off
  • Upload complete print-ready artwork before 5:00 PM for the applicable production schedule.
  • Late or incorrect artwork may affect production and delivery timing.
  • If using Upload Later, include the order number when sending the artwork separately.

Production and Delivery

The current product description refers to approximately 3 working days. The production period selected in the live product calculator should be treated as the final production schedule.

Production time and courier delivery time are separate. Allow additional delivery time after production when courier shipping is selected.
Urgent or rush production is subject to availability and may involve an additional charge. Confirm an urgent event deadline before placing the order.
