Dry indoor product: The current product description classifies this hologram sticker as non-waterproof. Keep it away from wet surfaces, prolonged moisture, condensation and outdoor exposure unless the actual material and finished construction have been separately tested.
Material verification: The calculator identifies the two choices only as “Hologram” and “Broken Glass Holographic”. Confirm the exact substrate, thickness and adhesive before describing it as paper, PET, PP, PVC, permanent adhesive or removable adhesive.

Choose the Holographic Material Pattern

Both materials create a colour-shifting reflective effect. The main difference is the visible pattern in the holographic surface.

Standard PatternHologram

The standard rainbow hologram option produces a smooth, colour-changing reflective background that shifts with the light and viewing angle. Suitable for logos, promotional labels, packaging seals and collector stickers.

Fragmented PatternBroken Glass Holographic

This option uses a more angular, fragmented holographic pattern for a sharper prismatic appearance. Choose it when the surface pattern should remain more visually noticeable around or through the artwork.

The reflective pattern changes with lighting and viewing angle, so a screen preview cannot reproduce the exact final appearance. When the pattern is important to the design, request a printed sample before a larger quantity.

Match the Printing Colour to the Artwork

The live calculator provides three printing choices. Use the exact option that matches the supplied colour artwork and white-ink layer.

Full Color Printing CMYK inks allow the holographic surface to influence the printed colours. Unprinted areas and white artwork show the hologram material rather than printing as solid white.
White Color Only – 1C Choose this for solid white text, logos, icons or simple artwork on the holographic material. Supply the intended white areas as clean vector artwork.
White Color With Full Color Printing – 1C + 4C Choose white plus CMYK when selected colour areas need stronger opacity and less holographic show-through. Supply a separate white-ink mask for the required areas.
Creating visible hologram areas: Leave the required background areas unprinted or omit them from the white-ink mask. The hologram pattern will remain visible in those areas.
White ink and CMYK printing require registration between layers. Avoid excessively fine white masks, tiny reversed text and very thin borders where a small alignment tolerance would be noticeable.

Additional Front ProtectionAnti Curl Gloss Lamination

Adds a clear glossy layer to the printed face and can help reduce curling and surface scuffing. The gloss layer may also change the way the holographic pattern appears under light.

Anti-curl gloss lamination does not automatically convert a paper-based or dry-use hologram sticker into a fully waterproof or outdoor-rated product. Moisture can still enter through the edges or affect the adhesive and backing.

Sticker Shape and Cut Type Options

Sticker Shape controls the finished outline. Sticker Cut Type controls how the completed stickers and backing are supplied.

Die Cut in Individual Piece

The sticker and backing are cut into separate individual pieces. Suitable for giveaways, hand distribution, separate packing and ready-to-use product labels.

Single Kiss Cut in Single Piece

One sticker is kiss-cut through the face material while its surrounding backing remains intact for easier peeling and a cleaner presentation.

Multiple Kiss Cut in Single Sheet Piece

Multiple stickers remain organised on one backing sheet for repeated application, storage, packing or promotional sticker sets.

Hologram Sticker Artwork Guidelines

Upload print-ready artwork that matches the selected size, printing colour, material, shape and cut type. Image Magic provides printing and a basic preflight check; the customer remains responsible for the final design, spelling, dimensions, white-ink mask and cut path.

Print Artwork File
  • Recommended format: PDF, AI or EPS.
  • Prepare colour artwork in CMYK.
  • Use approximately 300 DPI at final size for raster images.
  • Outline or embed all fonts.
  • Flatten final print artwork where appropriate.
Hologram Show-Through Areas
  • Leave areas unprinted where the holographic material should remain fully visible.
  • CMYK-only areas can retain a holographic influence through the colour.
  • White artwork does not print in the Full Color Printing option.
  • Review the artwork using a separate preview layer that identifies reflective areas.
White-Ink Mask
  • Provide a separate vector layer named “White” or “White Ink”.
  • Use solid shapes to identify the exact white areas.
  • Use white backing beneath CMYK areas that require stronger opacity.
  • Do not use gradients, transparency or shadows in the white mask.
  • Avoid extremely fine white elements and thin borders.
Cut Line, Bleed and Safe Area
  • Add 3mm bleed on all sides when artwork reaches the edge.
  • Supply a magenta vector stroke or clearly labelled cut-line layer.
  • Keep important text and logos approximately 3–5mm inside the cut line.
  • Avoid unnecessarily complex paths and sharp internal corners.
Multiple Designs
  • The minimum quantity applies to each individual artwork.
  • Different logos, colours or product versions are separate designs.
  • Clearly label each file and its matching quantity.
  • All options under the same order item must use the same selected specifications.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between Hologram and Broken Glass Holographic?
Hologram uses the standard rainbow reflective pattern shown in the calculator. Broken Glass Holographic uses a more fragmented, angular-looking surface pattern.
What happens to white artwork with Full Color Printing?
Standard CMYK does not print white. White artwork areas will show the underlying holographic material unless white ink is selected and supplied.
When should I choose white plus full-colour printing?
Choose White Color With Full Color Printing when selected CMYK areas need stronger opacity and less holographic show-through. Supply a separate white-ink mask.
Does gloss lamination make the stickers waterproof?
No waterproof guarantee should be assumed. Lamination protects the printed face and can reduce curling, but moisture may still affect the edges, adhesive or substrate.
Are these security or tamper-evident hologram labels?
No. The standard product is a decorative printed holographic sticker. It should not be represented as a certified security, VOID, anti-counterfeit or tamper-evident product.
What cutting formats are available?
Choose Die Cut in Individual Piece, Single Kiss Cut in Single Piece or Multiple Kiss Cut in Single Sheet Piece.
What is the minimum order quantity?
The current product starts from 100 pieces per design. Different artwork versions require separate quantities.
How long does production take?
Standard production is approximately 2–4 working days after the order and print-ready artwork are confirmed. Delivery time is separate.
