WDCH002Landscape — 215mm × 150mm

Horizontal hard stand desk calendar format with a wide layout for monthly grids, product images, property visuals, branding and promotional messages.

Artwork size: Prepare artwork using the exact WDCH001 Portrait or WDCH002 Landscape template. Do not describe the product simply as “A5” because the finished dimensions are model-specific.

The calculator provides two calendar model types in both portrait and landscape orientations. The material combination must follow the selected model type.

Important: The 16-sheet / 32-page option must total 16 physical sheets and 32 printed pages in OPS. Do not publish a combination that totals only 14 sheets / 28 pages.

Desk Calendar Artwork Preparation Guidelines

Supply complete print-ready artwork using the correct model template. Image Magic provides printing and basic technical file checking; design, layout editing and proofreading are not included.

Choose the Correct Calendar Template
  • Use WDCH001 for Portrait or WDCH002 for Landscape.
  • Select the correct 8-sheet or 16-sheet model before preparing the artwork.
  • Use only the official template matching the selected model and orientation.
  • Do not resize, stretch or rotate one model template to create the other orientation.
  • Keep the Wire-O punching and binding area unchanged.
Calendar Dates & Monthly Content
  • Check the calendar year before final approval.
  • Verify all month names, dates, weekdays and public-holiday information.
  • Confirm that January through December are complete and correctly arranged.
  • Check company names, contact details, websites and QR codes in the supplied artwork.
  • Customers remain responsible for all calendar dates and published content.
Bleed, Colour & Images
  • Add approximately 3mm bleed on required trimmed edges.
  • Extend edge-to-edge backgrounds and images fully through the bleed area.
  • Prepare printed artwork in CMYK colour mode.
  • Use high-resolution images suitable for final print size.
  • Keep important text and logos away from trimming and Wire-O punching areas.
Fonts & Final PDF
  • PDF is the preferred print-ready format.
  • Convert fonts to outlines or embed them correctly before export.
  • Embed linked images and graphics in the final file.
  • Make sure the number of supplied pages matches the selected model type.
  • Review the orientation of both sides of every calendar sheet.
Basic Technical File Check
  • Image Magic may check basic file size, page count, orientation, bleed and print readiness.
  • The technical check is not a design, calendar-date verification or proofreading service.
  • Incorrect or incomplete files may delay the production schedule.
  • Changes after approval may affect price and completion time.
Stand Artwork & Hot Stamping
  • The current stand is Chipboard 700gsm with Bukram Black.
  • Do not prepare full-colour stand-printing artwork unless a separate option is specifically added.
  • Hot stamping is not available in this current product.

What is a hard stand desk calendar?
It is a Wire-O bound desktop calendar supported by a rigid board stand. This product uses a 700gsm chipboard stand with Bukram Black covering and printed calendar sheets attached with black Wire-O binding.
What is the minimum order quantity?
The supplier quantity schedule starts from 10 sets per design. Different artwork versions should normally be ordered as separate designs.
What calendar sizes are available?
WDCH001 is the Portrait model at 150mm × 215mm, while WDCH002 is the Landscape model at 215mm × 150mm. Use the correct template for the selected orientation.
How many pages are available?
The product is intended to offer 8 sheets / 16 printed pages and 16 sheets / 32 printed pages. The sheet, paper and cover structure in the calculator must match the selected model type.
What paper is used for the 8-sheet calendar?
The supplier specification lists two-side-coated Gloss Art Card 230gsm for the 8-sheet / 16-page configuration, with gloss water-based varnish applicable to the Art Card sheets.
What paper is used for the 16-sheet calendar?
The supplier specification assigns Simili Paper 140gsm to the 16-sheet / 32-page configuration. It also states that Simili 140gsm is not available for quantities from 10 to 450 sets.
Is the calendar printed in full colour?
Yes. The supplier specification lists 4C full-colour printing on both sides for the printed calendar sections.
What binding is used?
Finishing includes collating, Wire-O hole punching and black 3/8-inch Wire-O binding.
Is the black stand printed with my company logo?
The current product lists Chipboard 700gsm with Bukram Black as the stand material and does not list full-colour stand printing. Company branding should be prepared on the printed cover and calendar content unless a separate stand printing option is introduced.
Is hot stamping available?
No. Hot stamping belongs to the previous DCHS001 product and is not part of this new Hard Stand Wire-O Calendar configuration.
How long does production take?
The supplier schedule lists 3 working days for 10–200 sets, 4 working days for 250–1,000 sets, 5 working days for 1,500–4,000 sets, 6 working days for 4,500–6,000 sets and 7 working days for 6,500–10,000 sets. The schedule excludes the order day and receiving day.
Does Image Magic provide calendar design services?
No. Image Magic provides printing and may perform a basic technical file check. Customers should supply completed, print-ready calendar artwork and remain responsible for design, dates, content and proofreading.
