Choose Your Lanyard Type

The hardware configuration is selected through the lanyard type. Choose the version that matches how the lanyard will be used.

Standard Lanyard – 20mm × 465mm

Standard custom printed lanyard for ID cards, badges, passes and general event identification.

Buckle Version Lanyard with Buckle – 20mm × 545mm

Extended lanyard configuration incorporating the buckle arrangement shown in the selected product option.

Plastic Clip Version Lanyard with Plastic Clip – 20mm × 465mm

Custom printed lanyard configured with the plastic clip arrangement shown in the product option.

Plastic Clip and Buckle are product configurations rather than general add-ons. Select the correct lanyard type before preparing the artwork.

The existing page says the MOQ starts from 50 pieces, but the current indexed calculator pricing appears to represent a 10-piece configuration. Please verify the actual minimum quantity in the admin before displaying an MOQ in the description or SEO.

Printing and Material

Full-Colour Printing Suitable for supplied logos, text, gradients, graphics and event branding.

Both Sides Printed Front and back artwork can be prepared using the matching product templates.

Material Type Select the material currently available in the live Material Type field.

Sublimation, silkscreen and woven lanyards should not all be advertised as standard options unless customers can actually select those methods in the calculator. The current calculator exposes Full Colour Printing Both Sided rather than a separate Printing Method field.

Logo, Text and Name Printing

Standard artwork should be treated as one design repeated throughout the selected quantity.

Company Logo Repeat your logo along the printable lanyard area.

Event or Brand Name Include supplied event names, slogans or corporate text.

Repeated Pattern Continuous or repeated graphic artwork can be prepared across the lanyard.

If every lanyard needs a different employee name, number or other personalised information, confirm variable-data capability and pricing separately. The current calculator does not expose an individual-name personalisation field.

Selected Hardware Hardware follows the lanyard and Hook Type options chosen in the calculator.

ID Card Not Automatically Included ID cards or badge cards should be ordered separately unless specifically included in your quotation.

Artwork Preparation Guidelines

Use the downloadable front and back templates corresponding to the exact lanyard type selected.

File Format and Colour

PDF is the preferred print-ready format.
AI files are also suitable.
Prepare artwork in CMYK colour mode.
Images should be approximately 300 DPI at final size.
Convert fonts to outlines or embed them correctly.

Use the Correct Template

Download the template for the exact selected lanyard configuration.
Separate templates are available for front and back artwork.
Buckle and plastic-clip variants have their own artwork guides.
Do not reuse the Standard Lanyard template for another configuration without checking dimensions.

Artwork Length Clarification

The product selector displays 465mm and 545mm lanyard configurations.
The older static guideline also refers to a 900mm artwork length.
Because those measurements describe the artwork differently, always follow the downloadable template generated for the selected variant.
Do not manually build artwork based only on the 900mm text instruction.

Bleed and Safe Area

Add 3mm bleed on both sides where the background reaches the edge.
Keep important logos and text approximately 3–5mm away from the edges.
Keep critical content away from stitching, hardware and edge areas.

Repeated Logo Layout

Prepare the complete repeat pattern in the final artwork.
Keep logo spacing consistent.
Check that important text remains readable when the lanyard is worn around the neck.
Avoid positioning important elements where they may be hidden behind hardware.

Front and Back Alignment

Prepare the front and back according to the matching template.
Keep repeated artwork visually consistent on both sides.
Clearly label front and back artwork files.
Check orientation before final export.

Multiple Designs

Quantity is selected per design.
Do not split one selected quantity between several unrelated artworks.
Additional artwork may be added as separate items when specifications and quantities are the same.

Basic Artwork Check

Image Magic performs a basic technical artwork check for size, margins, repetition and colour setup.
Minor technical adjustments may be made where necessary.
This is not a full redesign or proofreading service.
Artwork should be uploaded before 5:00 PM where production scheduling is important.

Production and Delivery

Production time can depend on the selected lanyard configuration, quantity, current material availability and acceptance of the final artwork.

Production and courier delivery are separate. Confirm the available completion schedule before ordering lanyards for a fixed event date.

A fixed production-time option is not currently exposed in the indexed product calculator. Avoid advertising guaranteed fast or urgent production until the schedule has been confirmed.
