Choose the Correct Sticker Material

The best material depends on the application surface and the visual effect required.

General Purpose 3M Gloss Sticker

White glossy adhesive material for general wall graphics, promotional displays and branding on suitable clean, smooth surfaces.

Better Opacity 3M Greybase Sticker

White sticker material with a grey adhesive backing. Choose this when stronger surface coverage is required, such as over darker backgrounds or previous graphics.

Economy Option Bagus Gloss Sticker

Budget-oriented glossy sticker material for suitable short-term indoor promotions, campaign displays and smooth-surface graphics.

Transparent Effect Ultra Clear Transparent Sticker

Clear material for applications where the background should remain visible. Particularly useful on glass, acrylic and other clean transparent or smooth surfaces.

Choosing Ultra Clear: The colour or pattern behind transparent material can affect the appearance of the printed artwork. If opaque white or stronger colour coverage is required, confirm the available white-ink setup before ordering.

How the Product Options Affect Your Wall Sticker

Custom Size Enter the required finished width and height and prepare the artwork at the same actual size.
Material Type Select the material according to opacity, transparency, surface and intended application.
Full-Colour Printing Prepare normal colour artwork in CMYK.
Cut to Size Suitable for rectangular or straightforward finished wall graphics.
Custom Shape Supply a separate closed vector cutline for contour-cut or custom-shaped artwork.
Quantity Per Design Different artwork versions should be ordered as separate designs unless the same-specification workflow is used.
Follow the current production-time option displayed during ordering. Production time and courier or collection time are separate.

Check the Wall Before Ordering

Adhesive performance depends heavily on the actual surface.

Clean and Dry Remove dust, oil, moisture and loose particles before application.
Smooth Surface Smooth, firm surfaces normally provide more consistent contact than rough or heavily textured walls.
Paint Must Be Cured Newly painted walls should be allowed to cure fully before sticker installation.
Avoid Powdery Walls Flaking, dusty or chalky paint can reduce adhesion and may lift during removal.
Test When Unsure A small test application is recommended when the wall condition or paint type is uncertain.
Removal Is Surface Dependent Do not assume every sticker will remove without adhesive marks or paint damage.
Wall condition is important. Rough, uneven, dusty, oily, moisture-affected or weak painted surfaces can reduce adhesion. Adhesion and removal performance cannot be guaranteed on every type of painted wall.

For small product labels, sticker sheets, individual promotional stickers or transparent packaging labels, select the dedicated sticker product that matches the required supply format.

Artwork Preparation Guidelines

Prepare the artwork at the actual ordered size before uploading.

File Format and Resolution
  • PDF is the preferred print-ready format.
  • AI artwork may also be supplied.
  • Prepare the file at actual size or 1:1 scale.
  • Use approximately 150–300 DPI at actual size.
  • Prepare colour artwork in CMYK.
Bleed and Safe Area
  • Add approximately 3–5mm bleed when artwork extends to the finished edge.
  • Extend backgrounds and images through the bleed.
  • Keep important text and logos approximately 3–5mm inside the finished edge.
  • For custom shapes, keep important content at least 5mm inside the cutline.
Custom Shape Cutline
  • Supply a closed vector path for custom shapes.
  • Place the cutline on a separate layer.
  • Identify the cutline using a clearly named separate spot colour.
  • Avoid extremely small details, thin sections and unnecessarily complicated cutting paths.
Fonts and Images
  • Convert fonts to outlines or embed them correctly.
  • Embed all linked images.
  • Check photographs and logos at the final printed size before exporting.
Multiple Designs
  • Upload one final artwork file per order item.
  • Use Add Item for additional artwork with the same specification and quantity.
  • Do not split one selected quantity across different unrelated designs.
  • All options selected for an item apply to the artwork uploaded under that item.
Basic Artwork Check
  • Image Magic may perform a basic technical check for size, margins and colour setup.
  • Minor technical adjustments may be made where appropriate.
  • This is not a full graphic-design, retouching or proofreading service.
  • Customers remain responsible for final wording, dimensions and design content.
Complete print-ready artwork should be uploaded before the published artwork cut-off. Late or incorrect artwork can affect the production and delivery schedule.

Basic Wall Sticker Application

  1. Prepare Surface Clean the wall and allow it to become completely dry.
  2. Check Position Measure and align the graphic before exposing the full adhesive.
  3. Apply Gradually Work slowly from one side while smoothing the sticker to reduce trapped air.
  4. Press Edges Apply even pressure across the graphic, particularly around edges and corners.
Large wall graphics can be difficult to install without bubbles, wrinkles or alignment errors. Consider experienced installation for large or multi-section graphics.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which wall sticker material should I choose?
Choose 3M Gloss for general white glossy graphics, 3M Greybase when stronger opacity is required, Bagus Gloss for suitable budget-conscious short-term applications, or Ultra Clear when transparency is part of the required effect.
Can wall stickers be applied to any painted wall?
No. Smooth, clean, dry and firmly painted surfaces are preferable. Rough, dusty, oily, uneven or weak painted surfaces may reduce adhesion.
Can I order a custom-shaped wall sticker?
Custom-shaped artwork can be prepared with a separate closed vector cutline. Avoid excessively fine or complex cut details.
Will the sticker remove without damaging paint?
This cannot be guaranteed for every wall. Removal depends on the sticker material, adhesive, duration of use and the strength and condition of the painted surface.
Can I apply a sticker to a newly painted wall?
Allow newly applied paint to cure fully before installing a wall sticker. Test a small area when the paint or wall condition is uncertain.
What artwork resolution should I use?
Approximately 150–300 DPI at the actual finished size is recommended for raster artwork.
What file is needed for a custom shape?
Supply the print artwork together with a closed vector cutting path on a separate layer using a clearly named spot colour.
Does production time include delivery?
No. Follow the production schedule shown for the selected order. Courier delivery or collection timing is separate.
