Important: “3x3” is the name of the pop-up system configuration. Always use the actual dimensions shown above when preparing artwork or planning your exhibition space.

Straight or Curved Pop Up System?

Both options use the 3x3 pop-up display format, but the finished backdrop shape and overall width are different.

Straight 3590 × 2300mm                

Creates a flat backdrop presentation. Suitable for exhibition booth walls, stage branding, corporate backdrops and display areas where a straight visual surface is preferred.

Curve 3440 × 2300mm                

Creates a curved backdrop presentation. Suitable for photo areas, event branding, roadshows and exhibition displays where a softer curved profile is preferred.

Check the measurement diagrams before booking exhibition floor space because the straight and curved systems have different installed footprints.

5 Printed Graphic Panels Full-colour graphics prepared for the selected system.
Magnetic Mounting System Magnetic components and clip rails for panel installation.
LED Spotlights Lighting is stated as part of the current display package.
Selected Carrying Case Choose a trolley canvas bag or PVC rigid hard case.
Reusable Display Hardware The display system can be packed away after an event and used again.
The PVC rigid hard case is not automatically included with every order because the calculator also offers a trolley canvas bag. The case supplied follows the casing option selected when ordering.

Lightweight Case Trolley Canvas Bag

A soft carrying option for packing and moving the pop-up display system between events.

Rigid Case PVC Rigid Hard Case

A firmer carrying and storage option for customers who prefer a rigid case for repeated event use.

Select the required casing in the product calculator. Do not assume that the PVC rigid hard case is included when the trolley canvas bag option is selected.

Printed Graphic Panel System

The artwork is divided across multiple display panels. Correct panel positioning is important for a continuous finished backdrop.

Five Graphic Panels Printed panels combine to form the complete backdrop.
Full-Colour Artwork Suitable for logos, photography and event branding.
Panel Joints Keep important content away from panel joining areas.
Do not describe this product as a 250gsm stretch-polyester fabric backdrop unless that material is specifically confirmed. The current calculator does not provide a stretch-fabric material option.

Artwork Preparation Guidelines

Use the template for the exact straight or curved system selected in your order.

File Format and Resolution
  • PDF is the preferred print-ready format.
  • AI files are also recommended for large-format artwork.
  • Prepare colour artwork in CMYK.
  • Use approximately 150–300dpi images at actual output size.
  • Convert fonts to outlines or embed them.
Prepare Artwork at Actual Size
  • Use the template matching the selected system.
  • Straight size: 3590 × 2300mm.
  • Curve size: 3440 × 2300mm.
  • Prepare artwork at 1:1 actual size unless the supplied template specifically states otherwise.
Bleed and Safe Area
  • Follow the dedicated pop-up panel template.
  • The current dedicated upload guide recommends approximately 3–5mm bleed when backgrounds extend to the edge.
  • Keep important logos, text and QR codes at least 20–30mm away from outer edges.
Important Panel-Joint Area
  • The finished backdrop consists of multiple graphic panels.
  • Avoid placing small text directly over panel joining lines.
  • Keep important logos, faces, QR codes and contact details clear of panel joints.
  • Large background images may continue across several panels.
Multiple Panel Files
  • Prepare the artwork according to the supplied panel layout.
  • Export individual panel files when required by the template.
  • Clearly label panel files in their correct sequence.
  • Check that adjacent panels align correctly.
Artwork Upload Cut-Off
  • Upload complete artwork before 5:00PM on the applicable working day.
  • Late or incorrect files may affect the production and delivery schedule.
  • Production begins only after the required order details and artwork are accepted.
Image Magic may perform a basic technical check for artwork size, margins, bleed and colour settings. Customers remain responsible for spelling, logos, dates, contact information and overall artwork content.

Basic Setup and Event Planning

Open the Frame Expand and secure the pop-up display structure.
Install Mounting Components Position the magnetic components and panel rails.
Attach Graphic Panels Install each panel in the correct sequence.
Install Spotlights Position the included lighting after the backdrop is stable.
Check Panel Alignment Ensure graphics flow correctly across panel joints.
Pack After Use Remove panels carefully and store the system in its case.
For exhibitions with fixed booth dimensions, check the straight or curved measurement diagram before ordering. Allow sufficient setup space and confirm venue access, power points and delivery timing in advance.

What sizes are available?
Choose 3590 × 2300mm Straight or 3440 × 2300mm Curve.
Does 3x3 mean the backdrop is exactly 3m × 3m?
No. Use the actual product dimensions when planning your artwork or exhibition space: 3590 × 2300mm for Straight and 3440 × 2300mm for Curve.
How many printed panels are included?
The current product description specifies five full-colour printed graphic panels.
Is the PVC hard case always included?
No. The calculator allows you to choose either a Trolley Canvas Bag or a PVC Rigid Hard Case.
Are LED spotlights included?
LED spotlights are listed as part of the current product package.
Is this the same as a tension fabric backdrop?
No. This product is a multi-panel 3x3 pop-up display system. For a stretch-fabric sleeve backdrop, choose the separate Tension Fabric Banner product.
Can important text cross a panel joint?
It is better to keep important logos, small text, QR codes and contact information away from panel joints because the joins may affect visibility.
Does production time include delivery?
No. Use the production time shown in the product calculator and allow delivery or collection time separately.
