Print reusable plastic folders with your supplied logo, company branding or event artwork. The current standard folder uses 180-micron Synthetic PVC Paper with full-colour single-sided printing and is designed to hold A4 documents.

The 310 × 442mm measurement refers to the flat/open folder layout. After forming, the folder is approximately 310 × 221mm and is intended for A4-size documents.

Printing

Full Colour Suitable for supplied logos, photographs, graphics, text and event branding.
Single-Sided Printing The current standard product prints one side of the folder artwork.
Plastic Print Appearance Colours and fine details can reproduce differently on synthetic plastic compared with coated paper.
For best readability, use good colour contrast and avoid very fine lines, extremely small text and very light design elements.

Folder Finishing

Matte Lamination – One Side Current standard laminated surface treatment.
Die Cutting The printed synthetic sheet is cut to the required folder profile.
Ultrasonic Sealing Folder sections are joined using ultrasonic sealing during production.

Artwork Preparation Guidelines

Prepare one final artwork file at the exact 310 × 442mm selected folder size.

File Format & Colour
  • PDF is the preferred print-ready format.
  • AI artwork is also accepted.
  • CMYK colour mode is recommended.
  • Images should be approximately 300 DPI at final size.
  • Outline or embed fonts before exporting.
Artwork Size
  • Prepare the artwork at 310 × 442mm.
  • Use the official plastic-folder template.
  • Do not resize the final design to a different proportion.
Bleed & Safe Area
  • Add 3mm bleed on all sides when a background or image extends to the edge.
  • Extend edge-to-edge artwork completely through the bleed.
  • Keep important text and logos at least 5mm inside the trim area.
Small Text & Fine Lines
  • Keep small text at a readable size; approximately 6pt or larger is recommended.
  • Avoid very thin strokes; approximately 0.3pt or thicker is recommended.
  • Use good contrast between text and background.
Printing on Plastic
Very light colours, very small text and extremely fine detail may reproduce differently on plastic compared with paper. Large solid-colour areas may also show slight surface variation.
One Artwork Per Order Item
  • Upload one final artwork per order item.
  • The selected quantity applies to one design.
  • Do not divide one selected quantity between several different artworks.
  • Additional designs with the same specification and quantity may be added as separate items.
Basic Artwork Check
Image Magic performs a basic technical check for artwork size, margins, print clarity and colour setup. This does not replace customer checking of spelling, logos, contact details or supplied design content.
Artwork Submission
  • Upload print-ready artwork before 5:00 PM for the applicable production schedule.
  • Late or unsuitable artwork may affect completion.
  • If using Upload Later, include the correct order number when sending the file separately.

Production & Delivery

Approx. 5–7 Working Days Current published standard production estimate.
