Do not describe this product as requiring no transfer film. The transfer carrier is part of the application process. Also avoid saying that no cutting is involved, because the calculator includes individual-piece and multiple-on-sheet cut-format options.

Match the Design Option to Your Artwork

Select the option that reflects the intended final appearance. Choosing the wrong option may cause colour areas or metallic gold areas to be produced incorrectly.

Full Colour with Metallic Gold Details

Use this option when the artwork includes normal CMYK colours together with selected metallic gold areas. It is suitable for multicolour logos, packaging graphics and labels that require gold highlights.

Single-Colour Metallic Gold Artwork

Use this option when every printed element should appear in metallic gold without CMYK colour printing. It is suitable for minimalist logos, names, borders, monograms and premium decorative details.

Artwork matching: For Gold with CMYK, clearly identify which artwork elements require metallic gold. For Only Gold, all intended printed elements should be prepared as one clear design on a transparent background.

The cut-type option describes how the UV DTF transfers are supplied on their carrier film. It does not change the selected Gold with CMYK or Only Gold design treatment.

Separate Transfer Pieces

Each transfer is supplied as an individual carrier-film piece for convenient handling, packing or distribution. The printed design transfers to the surface after pressing and removing the carrier.

Multiple Transfers on One Sheet

Several transfers are arranged on one carrier sheet so they can be stored together and applied one at a time. This is useful for repeated labels, product sets or several small transfers in one order format.

These are UV DTF transfer formats, not conventional paper stickers with a peel-off paper backing. The previous wording about a sticker being cut through its outer shape or remaining on a normal backing sheet should not be reused here.

How to Apply a UV DTF Gold Transfer

Apply only to a clean, dry and suitable smooth surface. Surface condition directly affects adhesion.

  1. Clean the Surface Remove dust, oil, moisture and residue, then allow the surface to dry completely.
  2. Prepare the Transfer Remove the protective layer carefully while keeping all printed elements on the transfer carrier.
  3. Position and Press Place the design once, then press firmly and evenly across the complete transfer.
  4. Remove the Carrier Peel the top carrier back slowly and check that every design element remains attached to the surface.
Apply carefully because repositioning may not be possible after the adhesive has contacted the surface. Small text and separate elements should be pressed thoroughly before removing the carrier.

Suitable Surfaces and Limitations

Glass and Smooth BottlesSuitable for clean, dry glass bottles, jars and display surfaces.
Acrylic and Smooth PlasticSuitable for many rigid plastics; test low-energy plastics such as PP or PE before a full order.
Coated Metal and CeramicSuitable when the surface is smooth, clean, dry and free from oil or coating residue.
Sealed Wood and Painted ItemsTest first because paint, coating, texture and porosity can affect adhesion or removal.
Not recommended for fabric, silicone, rubber, rough walls, porous surfaces, oily surfaces or flexible items that bend repeatedly. For washing, prolonged water exposure, chemicals, heat or outdoor use, test a sample on the actual item before placing a large order.

  • Prepare all normal colour areas in CMYK.

  • All printed design elements will be produced in metallic gold.
