Prepare the artwork using the correct FCD 004 dieline. Do not substitute a template from another CD jacket model.

160 × 384 mm Flat Model Size

The displayed dimensions refer to the flat CD jacket template before die-cutting, folding and assembly.

Use the official FCD 004 artwork template to position the front panel, back panel, disc-holding area, folds, cut lines and glue areas correctly.

Important size correction: Do not prepare this product as a simple 120 × 120 mm square. The current model uses a 160 × 384 mm flat dieline that includes the complete folded jacket construction.

Printing and Finishing Options

Choose the printing sides and lamination combination that match your artwork and intended presentation.

Full Colour, Single-Sided Prints the designated artwork side in full-colour CMYK.
Full Colour, Both Sides Prints the designated outer and inner artwork areas.
Matte Lamination Creates a smooth, low-glare and professional surface.
Gloss Lamination Creates a shinier surface with stronger colour vibrancy.
Front Spot UV Adds selective gloss emphasis to approved front artwork.
Die-Cut and Folded The finished construction follows the FCD 004 dieline.
Available Lamination Combinations

Single-Sided or Double-Sided Printing
  • Select single-sided printing when artwork is required only on the designated printed side.
  • Select double-sided printing when internal panels also require colour, information or branding.
  • Prepare every panel in the correct orientation using the FCD 004 template.
  • Check whether the selected lamination option matches the chosen printing sides.

Optional CD Seal

A clear seal can be selected to help keep the folded jacket closed after the disc has been inserted.

Transparent OPP Seal Clear CD seal measuring approximately 20 × 15 mm.
Seal Required Select this option when the clear closing seal is needed.
Seal Not Required Select this option when the jacket will be supplied without it.
Scope clarification: The online product configuration covers the printed CD jacket folder and the selected seal option. CD or DVD disc printing, disc duplication, insertion or other packing services should be quoted separately unless they are expressly included in your order.

Artwork Preparation Guidelines

Open the sections below before preparing or uploading your CD jacket artwork.

Use the FCD 004 Template
  • Prepare the artwork using the official FCD 004 dieline.
  • The model size displayed online is 160 × 384 mm.
  • Do not resize, stretch, rotate or rebuild the supplied dieline.
  • Do not alter the cut lines, fold lines, tabs, glue areas or disc-holding sections.
  • Keep the dieline on a separate non-printing layer when preparing the final file.
Bleed and Safe Area
  • Extend backgrounds and edge-to-edge images through the bleed area shown on the template.
  • Add approximately 3 mm bleed where required by the supplied dieline.
  • Keep text, logos and important details inside the indicated safe area.
  • Avoid placing small text directly across fold lines.
  • Keep important artwork away from glue tabs, disc slots and die-cut edges.
File and Colour Requirements
  • PDF is the preferred submission format.
  • AI or PSD files may also be supplied when required.
  • Use CMYK colour mode for printed artwork.
  • Raster images should be approximately 300 dpi at their final printed size.
  • Convert fonts to outlines or ensure all fonts are correctly embedded.
  • Embed all linked images before exporting the final artwork.
Before Approving Production
  • Confirm the FCD 004 model and quantity.
  • Confirm single-sided or double-sided printing.
  • Confirm the lamination and Spot UV selection.
  • Confirm whether the transparent CD seal is required.
  • Check track names, titles, dates, contact information and all other text carefully.
  • Review the orientation of every panel after folding.
  • Changes after approval may affect the price and completion date.

What is the minimum order quantity?
The minimum order is 250 pieces per design. Different artworks are normally treated as separate designs and quantities.
What is the current CD jacket model?
The current direct-order configuration shows model FCD 004 with a flat model size of 160 × 384 mm.
Is 160 × 384 mm the folded size?
No. It is the displayed flat model or dieline size before the jacket is die-cut, folded and assembled.
Can the jacket be printed on both sides?
Yes. Full-colour single-sided and full-colour double-sided printing options are available.
What finishing options are available?
Current choices include front-only or double-sided matte lamination, front-only or double-sided gloss lamination, and selected matte-lamination options with front Spot UV.
How long does production take?
The current product configuration states approximately 5 working days after payment, option confirmation and final artwork approval. Delivery time is additional.
