A Roll Up Bunting, also known as a pull up banner or retractable banner, is a portable vertical display that pulls upward from an aluminium base. It is suitable for exhibitions, retail promotions, roadshows, seminars, reception areas and corporate events.

Select the size before preparing artwork. Do not resize one finished artwork file to several different roll-up sizes without checking the layout and image resolution.

Full-colour single-sided print on 180gsm Photo PVC Synthetic Paper.

Retractable Aluminium Base

The printed banner retracts into the base for transport and storage.

Rear support pole holds the extended banner vertically during display.

Indoor display recommended: Roll up stands have a relatively narrow base and can become unstable in wind. For outdoor or exposed locations, consider a beach flag or outdoor banner system instead.

Artwork Preparation Guidelines

Click each section below before preparing your print-ready artwork.

File Format and Colour
  • PDF is the preferred print-ready format.
  • AI, EPS or high-resolution JPG may also be used.
  • Prepare artwork in CMYK colour mode.
  • Outline or rasterise fonts before exporting.
  • Artwork must be portrait orientation.
Artwork Size and Resolution
  • Prepare artwork at the exact selected roll-up size at 1:1 scale.
  • Do not stretch smaller artwork to fit.
  • Use approximately 150–300dpi at actual size; 300dpi is preferred where practical.
  • Check photographs and logos at final output size.
Bleed and Safe Area
  • Follow the downloadable guideline for the selected size.
  • Add the required bleed shown in the product template.
  • Keep important text, logos and QR codes away from trimming edges.
  • Keep critical content clear of the bottom roll-mechanism allowance indicated in the template.
Bottom Roll Mechanism Area
Part of the lower artwork area is used by the retractable mechanism inside the aluminium base. Do not place important text, logos, telephone numbers or QR codes in this area. Follow the downloadable template for the selected size before submitting the final file.
Multiple Designs
  • The selected quantity applies to each design.
  • Different artwork versions should be added as separate items.
  • Multiple designs may use the Add Item function when specifications and quantities are the same.
  • One quantity cannot be divided among different artworks.
Artwork Upload Timing
  • Upload complete artwork before 5:00 PM for the normal production workflow.
  • Late or incorrect files may affect the completion schedule.
  • When uploading later, include the order number with your file submission.

  2. Select Quantity Order from one complete set for each design.
  3. Upload Artwork Submit complete portrait print-ready artwork.
  4. Production & Delivery Allow production time before collection or delivery.

Does the price include the stand?
Yes. The standard Roll Up Bunting is supplied as a complete set with the printed banner, aluminium retractable stand, support pole and carry bag.
What sizes can I order?
Choose 60 × 200cm, 80 × 200cm, 85 × 200cm, 90 × 200cm, 120 × 200cm or 150 × 200cm.
What material is currently available?
The current standard product option uses 180gsm Photo PVC Synthetic Paper.
Can I order only one set?
Yes. The product starts from one complete set per design.
Can I order the printed banner without a stand?
For print-only requirements, use the separate Bunting Printing product and confirm the exact dimensions needed for your existing stand.
Can the Roll Up Bunting be used outdoors?
It is primarily an indoor display. Avoid exposed or windy outdoor areas because wind may affect stand stability.
How long does production normally take?
Standard production is typically 1–2 working days, subject to accepted print-ready artwork, quantity and production availability. Delivery time is additional.
Can I request an urgent order?
Urgent requirements should be confirmed with Image Magic before ordering because availability depends on artwork, quantity and the current production schedule.
