Tap the Card Hold the card near the NFC-reading area of a compatible smartphone.
Open the Link The phone displays a notification for the programmed digital profile or web link.
View the Profile The recipient can view the supplied contact, website, portfolio or social information.
No Recipient App Required The recipient normally opens the web-based link through the phone browser.
Phone Compatibility Required The receiving phone must support NFC and have the relevant function enabled.
QR Code Backup A supplied QR code can provide another way to open the digital destination.
This standard product is a networking and profile-sharing card. Access-control, attendance, payment, banking and door-entry programming are not shown as included functions.

Choose the method that matches the intended design. Laser engraving and full-colour printing require different artwork preparation.

Engrave supplied logo, text, icons or line artwork on the front of the metal card.

Engraved Front and Back Double-Sided Laser Engraving

Supply separate front and back engraving artwork.

Printed Front Single-Sided Full-Colour Printing

Print supplied CMYK artwork on the front card surface.

Fixed and Personalised QR Codes

Same on Every Card Fixed QR Code

One supplied QR code may be included as part of the repeated card artwork.

Different on Every Card Personalised QR or Serial Data

Select the relevant personalisation option and supply the variable data in an Excel file.

Clearly state how many cards are required for each Excel row. The total output is based on the number of data rows multiplied by the quantity required for each row.
Different employee layouts or names are not automatically treated as one variable-data order. Confirm whether they should be added as separate artwork items or quoted as a personalised project.

Metal Card Care

Durable Metal Construction Provides a firmer and more substantial feel than paper business cards.
Avoid Sharp Objects Keys and abrasive surfaces may mark or scratch the card finish.
Keep the Card Flat Avoid forceful bending or impacts that may damage the card or NFC component.
Do not describe the card as scratch-proof or indestructible. Normal surface wear can occur during carrying and handling.

Artwork Preparation Guidelines

Submit complete artwork matching the selected production method, card colour and printing sides.

Recommended File Format
  • PDF is the preferred final artwork format.
  • AI files may also be submitted.
  • Vector artwork is recommended for engraving.
  • Place multiple supporting files into one ZIP file.
Size, Bleed and Safe Area
  • Prepare artwork at 85 × 54mm.
  • Bleed is not required for the metal card.
  • Keep important content at least 2–3mm from every edge.
  • Avoid narrow borders positioned close to the card edge.
Laser-Engraving Artwork
  • Use solid 100% black to identify supplied engraving elements.
  • Clean vector artwork gives the clearest result.
  • Use a minimum line thickness of approximately 0.3pt.
  • Avoid gradients, transparency, shadows and very fine details.
Full-Colour Printing Artwork
  • Prepare printed artwork in CMYK.
  • Use approximately 300 DPI images at final size.
  • Remember that the selected metal-card colour may influence the visible printed appearance.
  • Clearly separate printed elements from engraving elements when using the combined option.
NFC Chip Caution Area
  • Use the product template showing the NFC location.
  • Avoid very small text and thin lines directly over the NFC-chip area.
  • Avoid placing essential contact details over the chip location.
  • Ensure the design does not interfere with NFC readability or performance.
Front and Back Artwork
  • Upload front artwork for a single-sided option.
  • Upload clearly labelled front and back artwork for double-sided options.
  • Check the back orientation before submission.
  • Clearly identify engraving and printed artwork components.
Personalised QR and Serial Data
  • Supply an Excel file for different QR codes or serial-number data.
  • Use one row for each different data record.
  • State the required quantity for each row.
  • Upload the Excel file with the artwork or in the additional-notes area.
Fonts and File Check
  • Convert fonts to outlines or embed them.
  • Image Magic may perform a basic technical check for size, margins, contrast and NFC-safe layout.
  • The file check is not a design or proofreading service.
  • Customers remain responsible for spelling, contact details, links and QR-code data.
Artwork Submission
  • Upload complete artwork before 5:00 PM for the selected production schedule.
  • Late, missing or incorrect files may affect production timing.
  • Include the order number when sending artwork after checkout.
Before Approving Production
  • Confirm the card colour.
  • Confirm the personalisation method.
  • Confirm front-only or both-sided production.
  • Confirm fixed or personalised QR data.
  • Test every supplied web link and QR code.
